So somehow over the weekend I obtained two Jart sets for my future coat of arms. If you don't know, Jarts are Javelin Darts - or commonly known as lawn darts. Sadly 3 children in the last 50 years died from these aerial death sticks.
Three? Thats all?
Wow. I would have thought there would be more. But I guess a lynch mob of angry soccer moms can accomplish anything if they put their minds to it.
I mean, there are a lot more dangerous things out there.

(I only trust them because they have an official sounding name and a somewhat professional looking site - then again they could be liars)
For 2001 there were THREE street car deaths. Obviously it's time to ban the streetcars...
Coat of Arms?
That's right, who wants whimpy lions, draggons, horses or swords? I know I don't. That's why I wanted Lawn Darts. I'll have them bronzed or something & wleded to the shield. It will be awesome.
Yesterday was Cesar Chavez day - a California state Holiday. Shouldn't have been today? I'm only briefly familiar with the work of this labor leader & mean no disrespect. It's just that when US banks take every off for every holiday known to man - and then they don't take off this one. It makes you wonder if it is in fact a real holiday.
Maybe it's my cynical outlook, or maybe it's my jealousy that wife got the day off & I didn't ;-)
