About...
..This site..
- 1001010 is binary (base 2) for decimal 74 (normal base 10)
- Decimal 74 is the character 'J' on the ASCII character chart
- My first name is Jason, and I'm a geek
..Myself..
- I currently work for a small software company in Irvine called CodeIt Computing, LLC
where I work on a 3 tier software project called Juncture - a lead management tool for the mortgage industry.
It's nice working for a small company again.
- Bren and I have been married since 1994 and young Seamus entered our lives on January 17th 2005
- Up until the start of 2005, I had spent 5 years as a programmer (Sr. Software Engineer) at GameSpy
Industries (a.k.a IGN/GameSpy after the merger), where I
work fulled time on the FilePlanet Download
Manager (dev lead), GameSpy
Arcade (dev team), GameSpy
3D (dev lead), GameSpy
ToolBar (dev lead) & other stuff as need arises
- Did you know I had a resume? It
doesn't do me any good if no one knows about it ;-)
..The Barcodes..
- Once upon a time, I worked at a very cool little company
called AccuGraphiX that made barcodes. I spent almost 3
years printing thermal transfer barcodes onto stickers.
After a while they became easier to read. Not in a super
geek sort of way (I was really close to code39), I was
just able to identify all the various types of codes & their
quality & how well formed they were.
...what the **** is this binary decimal thing? I just don't get it
